Mayfly Emerger patterns are deadly, as the emerging insect is powerless to escape and the trout key in on this. This Mayfly emerger pattern uses CDC in the wing to keep the fly on the surface naturally, but the design keeps it down in the film where the natural would be struggling to release its wings.
